One of the oldest markets in Ontario, Cobourg's Farmers' Market was established in 1839 and offers locally grown and certified organic produce, crafts, flowers, plants, cheese, farm fresh beef, sausage, atlantic seafood, breads, pastries, and other delectables.
The Market Building was designed in 1850 by Kivas Tully, and has ample windows retaining the original twelve over eight glass panes, pedimented pilasters and a traditional roof with wide overhanging eaves. Our farmers' market is still located around the building and our Christmas market takes place inside during November and December.
